Yes. Unplug it and let the pressure release before opening the cap, refill, then give it 2–3 minutes to heat back up.

Tap water works. In hard-water areas, distilled water helps prevent limescale build-up.

Unsealed wood, laminate, delicate fabrics, wallpaper and electronics. For upholstery, test a hidden spot first.
